I've been playing tennis for over 40 years. It started when I was young — picking up a racquet, falling in love with the sport, and eventually competing in junior tournaments from age 8. By the time my junior career was over I'd competed across Northern California and gone on to play college tennis at Sacramento State University. After college the competitive fire never went out. Through adult leagues and tournaments, I've stayed connected to the game not just as a coach but as a player — and that perspective shapes everything about how I built this platform.
For the past 12 years I've worked as a tennis instructor with juniors and adults at every level. And throughout all of that time — on both sides of the court — one thing kept standing out as a missing piece in how players develop.
